Final Documentary

I have now completed my final documentary 'Going Gender Free' which I have produced for BBC Radio 4. After listening to the feedback from my rough draft I made the following changes:

• Tightened up my introduction clips and reduced them to 6-7 seconds long to make them snappier

• Extended my voice over in the introduction to explain exactly what I wanted to find out from my documentary

• Tightened up clips throughout- particularly from Quinn as some of her clips were long in length

• I didn't manage to find someone in time to interview who is critical of gender neutral parenting so I added a clip where Alex describes some of the criticism he has come across

• Added in instrumental music at the beginning and end to lift and conclude the piece

• Recorded my voice over in a radio studio so it sounded more clear

Whilst I was putting the final cut together I interviewed Tessa from the campaign group, Let Toys Be Toys however I made the decision not to include the interview in my final 7 minute documentary as I felt I already enough to tell the story I wanted to. Instead I have featured the interview on this website in the interview section.
