quinn's story:
Quinn Savard is a mother of three and lives on the island of Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts.
She brings up her nine-year-old daugher gender neutral. Her daughter's gender has been flexible since she was in pre-school:

"So the rule we have, which is a recent conversation we've had, is how do you want us to refer to you with your pronouns? So when we're in conversation with people and they assume she is a boy then within that conversation we refer to her as a boy. And if the person refers to her as a girl then that's what we go with."

Quinn followed her daughter's lead when deciding to raise her gender neutral:

"She wore her brother's hand-me-downs, he's always been a big influence in her life. And I think that started to inform who she was as a person and feeling like 'I can be comfortable in both world's'."
